Recently there has been quite a scandal for a notable basketball player who has recently had an impact on a lot of critiques and opinions on his career and how it has been compared to past players. This is none other than 7’4 French 19-year-old Victor Wembanyama, who has what they call the skills of a much smaller player than despise his size, making him a prospect for the NBA defenses next season. All the talk is about how the athlete dominated the French basketball league last season, leading in points, rebounds, and blocks. With this Wenbayaman was the number one pick for the NBA Draft.

In a touching interview in New York City for his draft, he stated that entering the NBA was something he always dreamed about, after this, he traveled to the San Antonio Spurs to what many believe is the chance of a career with unlimited potential. Victor has obtained a great, yet pressuring opportunity, that had a lot of people begin to compare him to famous basketball player Lebron James with his number one NBA Draft pick back in 2003 that gave him the career he holds now.

Many speculate that Wembanyama will be in lineups whether they are big or small, which can make him a unique asset in the NBA. The player has shown great skill and agility in both defense and offense, players who can play multiple positions tend to become increasingly valuable with the importance of speed and space taken especially for offense.

Overall, Victor Wembanyama is one of the tallest players in the game right now, and beyond his size, he brings to the court skills that make him a great attribute and competitor who can effortlessly knock down shots beyond the arc and is believed to be one of the possible upcoming greatest players of the NBA.
